How to remove protective tape
Upon receipt of your range hood and filters, you will notice that the stainless steel is covered with a protective blue or white tape. This robust tape serves to safeguard the range hood from scratches during the shipping process. While the tape may appear challenging to remove, adhering to the instructions provided below will facilitate a swift removal process.
Applicable models

Important Note
These instructions are applicable solely to specific generations of these models. Kindly verify that your filters are identical before proceeding with these procedures.
- Utilize a rigid, flat object (such as a screwdriver or butter knife) to carefully elevate the tape located in the corner of the baffle.
- Carefully commence the process of peeling the tape from the corner. (If this is done too hastily, the tape may tear, resulting in a prolonged procedure.)
- For tape that becomes lodged in the gaps of the baffles, or if you require a visual demonstration, please refer to the video provided here to learn how to unscrew and open the baffles, thereby facilitating access to the interior.
