This article will detail the steps that can be taken to find out what could be going on with your rotary knobs if they are falling off or not securing to the shaft of the switch.
Falling Knob
STEP 1
Below are the steps to take to ensure a knob is fully secured:
- Look inside the small hole on the side of the knob to verify that there is a set screw inside
- Use a 1.5mm Hex Key Allen Wrench to tighten the sec screw to the shaft of the switch
If the know is secured with the appropriate set screw and has been tightened several times, but is still falling, please proceed to the next step:
STEP 2
Below are the steps to take to solve issues with a knob what will not remain secured:
- Obtain a replacement set screw of knob from our team (under warranty with a receipt, or by ordering a new part)
- Once the new parts are received, replace the knob entirely or replace the set screw inside the knob
